Goede morgen mijn lieve vriendin,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh Francis, I was just thinking of you last night. I wake up to see my blog, and THERE YOU ARE....when I see red with white polka dots, I am so happy.....
There are no words sometimes. BUT like Anaïs Nin stated, the job of a writer is to say what the rest of us cannot say. I will continue to say this to the end: YOU find the right words.
I remember when I was studying French in college, at the ages between 34-42. Somewhere around my second year of French, we had to write a certain type of essay. My professor said to me that I was a good writer because I was able to COMMUNICATE my thoughts in a second language, not my own. COMMUNICATE is the key word here. I am guessing that English is YOUR SECOND language, and like me, you are able to communicate very clearly not just WORDS, but IDEAS, and DEEP ONES, for that matter.
I loved what you said about the PROCESS of the artist. You are perceptive and are able to OBSERVE. One may SEE, but not all OBSERVE.
PROCESS is what is happening to me, indeed. AND TO YOU, I KNOW. Your studio may be organized and clean for now, but soon it will show the marks like that of Isabelle de Borchgrave's in the video....with colors of words, images, whatever you wish to be splattered around your work area. It will happen when you LET GO and SOAR.
Your visits are so special to me my dear friend. Enjoy this day and get into that studio and do what you DO NATURALLY. It will flow as you begin the process.
MILLE BISES! Anita
I am in love with this quote today...isn't it true!!!! Just happy here today...my students really do keep me in the present! Love to you. xoxoxo
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSweet friend,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow lovely to see your comment again this afternoon; you are probably asleep by now, but I am so proud of you.....you went into what was ONCE...IN THE PAST...living boldly in the PRESENT. AND I just wanted to let you know that this very quote you are using here is one that I will be using for my next post...I had thought about using it for quite some time. Funny how our thoughts MERGE and we are sometimes on the same "WAVELENGTH."
Much love to you, my dear and beautiful friend! Anita
Francis,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love this quote very much, and the picture to go along with it. I am just getting around to visiting with my bloggy friends after a week of festivities. Nel's wedding was beautiful, and it was a glorious day. Thank you for thinking of us on her special day. Your friendship means so much to me.

Good morning Francis! I think it's afternoon where you are!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love this quote ... So true and PERFECT for me these days!
It's easy to see how we all appreciate the wisdom of this quote! It rings so true within our spirits ... I smiled when I read Koralee's comment ... Kids do make life so REAL! I'm certain Eva makes your world come alive and very real - she is a present!
God bless you always Francis!
