My friend Marianne

*
december 11  2005
my friend
Marianne
passed away
She was a single mom
of twin-girls
Josanne and Josine

The girls were 21
when they lost their
mom

They were students
and had to go on
There were brothers and sisters
of their mother
but
that's not the same !

They did well
Josine got married
and is a working mom
and mother of Maik and Sienna

Josanne studied
Psychology
and graduated in biological
and cognitive psychology.
She also completed a research internship
at the Institute of Psychology
at the Erasmus University Rotterdam

on december 4  2012
she is defending her dissertation

PATHWAYS TO
VIOLENCE
IN
SCHIZOPHRENIA

*
Can you imagen
the girl who played
so often at my house
with her twin-sister
because
they were
best-friends of my Elisabeth
that girl is now
appointed as
an assistent professor
at the Erasmus School of Law
( section of criminology )

*
Reading the invition
I got tears in my eyes

How wonderful would
all this have been for
my friend Marianne
How proud she would have been

Being a single mom
was not easy for her
and she always did
the best she could

*
so
the
five-hundred-million
BELLS
are
for her
for sure
*

There's always
HOPE

  1. And where there is hope, there is love, the song that the bells are ringing out my dear. And life goes on, doesn't it? Anita

  2. Marianne is proud of them, and I am sure you are too, as they are close to your Elisabeth. They have oth done so well, and have striven for happiness in their lives; something we all hope to achieve, and what every mother would wish for her children. The quotation is from one of my most favourite books-I am trying to collect it in as many languages as possible!

    Fijne avond,

    Madelief
