MOST PRECIOUS FRIEND,A squirrel left an apple on my window sill yesterday, after he KNOCKED DOWN my flower pots!!!!! It is time for apple pie, isn't is dear one?Sweet Francis, your comment on my post was so beautiful. That MOMENT you created for your students 10 years ago was poetry in the making. SILENCE, with just the sound of paint brushes dipping in the pots, strokes sweeping across the wet page, what a picture. Your heart is beautiful.....be well, live LARGE, and love LARGE......kind hugs and friendship, Anita
You betcha my sweet friend...apple pie is just what is needed today...I think I have one in my freezer that my mom made for me....off to see!Hugs for a wonderful weekend. xoxoxo
drooling!!! ahhh, even just the smell of apple pie is so comforting! My "hope" is to TRY and bake an apple pie with my little Hayden this fall, when apples are the best. (I LOVElove to cook, but baking is something I am not very good at...) Thank you for reminding us of the wonders of simple apple pie!!!
Apple crisp, apple sauce, apple pie ~ fresh right from the tree apples are everywhere at my house, Francis! I just LOVE them! I love Jane Austen ~ What would we women do without her? ♥ Have a sweet week, dear heart!*Maria
