  1. I'm not sure if Experience is the bitterest... sometimes what other reflect is by no means what's real and good for you to replicate. So by imitating a fraud you, somehow, become and erpetuate a fraud.
Experience is probably the hardest but in the end the only one with sweet reward.
Hope you had a wonderful time celebrating the "new" Royal Family. I loved it so much - your happiness as a country and people was contagious.

Happy May, may it be lovely, full of great people and joyfull moments for you, Dear Francis.

    Love,
    Teresa

  2. Confucious was a genius, but I am sure he had his share of experiences that taught him well. I know that in my life, imitation has been helpful in my LEARNING skills on HOW TO DO SOMETHING, but experience has been a learning tool to show me HOW TO BE SOMEONE. Life is wonderful, even in its hardest times because WE LEARN.

My dear one, it is so good to see your new post. I wish you well and hope that all is fine on your end of the world! I miss you over at my blog....I wonder what I have done wrong as to lose commenters? Big hugs to you beautiful friend! Anita

  3. Happy May, Francis! This is my favorite month because it is my birthday month and mothers day. I certainly want to gain more wisdom, but sometimes it's hard getting there, isn't it? If only I can remember that rainbow at the end of the bumpy road.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

  6. Hello Francis, I am rather late replying to your lovely comments;apologies! My name is Geraldine, and I chose the name sky-blu-pink as when I was little it was was my reply when I was asked my favourite colour! So pleased you have a blacksmith connection too! These days it is restoration and conservation, small items like candlesticks, but we have some ideas for furniture as well. Sean is also planning to take a Farrier course so he can shoe horses too. Queen's/King's Day sounds amazing! About 10 years ago I was in Utrecht visiting my friend Jacomien and enjoyed the April 30th celebrations. Orange, too is a favourite colour of mine! We have just enjoyed a long weekend for the May 1st holiday, but back to school tomorrow.
