Overwhelming
Has been my word
For the past week .
IT started
on my birthday
november 2
my children gave me
an IPad
I was over the moon
And than
november 5
I had the chance
of receiving a new hip
Tuesday in the hospital
Friday I was allowed to go home.
Let I say
That is quite an experience
One thing I new for sure
THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME
My children cleaned the whole house
Every inch
Bright and shiny
I could feel the clean and fresh energy
My new start
Was blessed
So blessed
IT feels like
I am making a whole new start
The first days
I was very emotional
All the love and the gifts
and the mail
and the surprises
IT almost was TOO MUCH
to take in
I am doing
GREAT
and now learning
to use my IPad
for blogging too.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am so happy you got your hip replacement. My cousin was a professional dancer and finally 64 years of dancing got to her hips. She had the replacement and is doing fantastic so I know you will be running around soon.

I wouldn't be without my iPad now! I am glad you have one too! What a lovely act of kindness by your children. I hope your recovery continues to be quick, and you are soon running about again.

I'm so glad you're feeling better now with your new hip, Francis. Your kids are so wonderful to come in and clean your house while you were away. I have seen the IPads. They are very cool.

Good morning my dear one.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am late, school is taking up my time and I am not spending much time blogging any more. I am still visiting all my friends, but posting is taking a back seat to my work and my poetry workshops.
However, I can never forget my dear friends. I have thought of you, hoping you are well. As you can already see, I am no longer one to hand-write letters, but rather enjoy blogging and emailing. I just want to tell you here that I am SO HAPPY to know you are experiencing a positive new start. May your recovery bring you healing and I'm so glad you have an IPAD! Visit me when you can.
