my new garden
is
a true gift
of my new life

The first time
I went in the garden
with Eva
we both were so happy
For her little feet
the garden is a whole new world
For my eyes
and my heart
the garden is a PRESENT
beyond dreams

  1. I wish I had a little Eva to share my garden with. Children add so much to the delights of gardening.

  4. OH I JUST SAW YOUR COMMENT!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE YOUR RESPONSE: TO JUST BE. Exactly. Life's demands sometimes do not allow us to just BE. It makes us RUN, PERFORM, STRIVE, STRESS. But the garden stops us to listen to the birds, the wind, smell the flowers, the dirt and watch the children play.

Oh I am so excited for YOU! I cannot wait for you to see mine as I hope to post later this evening. And you too, YOU are with me in my garden dearest friend. Anita

  5. Francis,
I can just see little Eva walking through your garden, eyes so big, taking it all in. She is getting so big, and you are blessed to have her in your life.

Enjoy your garden this weekend. My husband will tack my bird feeder on the fence today, and we will see lots of birds come around.

    Love,
    ~Sheri

  8. My beautiful Francis,

How I loved to see your message on my blog. Magic is what I love to create the most, and I'm so happy that you found it when you opened my blog, entered into just a slice of my garden and home, and found it there.

There is SO much to say about how our lives mirror what happens in nature; the death and rebirth of a blossom, the promise of the season, the inevitable mark of dormancy. But it is all part of the organism's life to CHANGE, REARRANGE, AND LIVE. Your new world has so much magic waiting for you. Teaching maybe out of the question now for you, but all the SEEDS YOU PLANTED ONCE are now trees, flowers, and happy souls that will in turn plant seeds that YOU STARTED. This is the legacy of a teacher, a parent, a grandparent. We are in this together.

Oh how WE NEED to have a coffee moment together!

Much love to you dear heart, and I really would love it if you answered my email; I have something I want to send you, but I need for you to send my your address...please, when you can? Anita
